The "Extract invoice data" button doesn't appear in Gmail

Make sure Faktee is installed and enabled in Chrome extensions (chrome://extensions). Try refreshing Gmail (F5). If the button still doesn't appear, the email may not have a PDF attachment — Faktee only activates for emails with PDF files.

My activation code says "invalid"

Make sure you're entering the code exactly as received, in the format FAKTEE-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. Spaces are automatically removed. If the problem persists, contact us — we'll check the code status.

The AI extracted incorrect data

The preview modal lets you edit all fields before exporting. Simply click the field, correct the value, and then export. If you're seeing consistent errors on a specific type of invoice, please send us a sample (with sensitive data redacted) so we can improve the extraction prompt.

Extraction is taking longer than 30 seconds

This can happen with very large PDFs or when Google's servers are busy. Try again — if it consistently times out, the PDF may be too large or corrupted. Contact us with details.

I hit my monthly limit

Free accounts have a limit of 10 invoices per month. The counter resets on the 1st of each month. If you need more, contact us about upgrading to a higher tier.

How do I uninstall Faktee?

Go to chrome://extensions, find Faktee, and click Remove. All locally stored data (history, settings) will be deleted automatically.

Does Faktee work with Outlook or other email clients?

Currently Faktee only supports Gmail. Outlook and other clients are on the roadmap.
